Victor Talking Machine Victrola Head

Description

The head measures 2 inches in diameter and the inside diameter of the hole on the back side where it fits into the arm is 11/16-inch across.
It is marked “Exhibition, Victor Talking Machine Co., Camden, N.J.” on the face.
It is also marked “Pat. In USA & Foreign Countries.”
The number 537199N appears on the back.

There is a little bit of light corrosion on the piece and it has mostly all original finish.
It appears to be complete and intact in its original box.
PLEASE NOTE: The steel thumbscrew that holds the needle in place is broken off flush with the housing so for this Victrola to be actually put in use the thumbscrew stub would need to be drilled out and the hole rethreaded to accept a new thumbscrew.
